Participating providers can submit their credentialing information to EHS in one of two ways. The first is the
Council for Quality Healthcare (CAQH), a free universal credentialing data source. CAQH is a non-profit alliance
of health plans, networks and trade associations working together to simplify the credentialing process and to reduce
paperwork and time spent by physicians and their office staff on certain administrative tasks. Providers submit
all information just once to CAQH in a standardized application data format. The provider then authorizes
the release of the data to EHS. Only those organizations authorized by the provider are able to receive the data.
Automatic reminders are sent each quarter to update specific information as it becomes due. For more information
